On 28 November 2024, Hong Kong reached a remarkable milestone in its aviation history with the inauguration of the Three-Runway System (3RS) at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA).
This groundbreaking development, supported by significant infrastructure advancements, features a new Air Traffic Control Tower equipped with an enhanced digital tower system and state-of-the-art CNS facilities. This ambitious project is designed to accommodate Hong Kong's projected long-term air traffic growth, further solidifying its status as a leading international aviation hub.
