Egis is participating in the construction of Triangle, located in the heart of the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre, in the 15th arrondissement of Paris. This large-scale project, designed by the Swiss agency Herzog & de Meuron, promises to redefine the Parisian urban landscape.
Triangle is located on a plot of land bordered by avenue Ernest Renan, rue de la Porte d'Issy and rue d'Oradour sur Glane. This site, surrounded by emblematic structures such as the Parc des Expositions and the Palais des Sports, benefits from an exceptional geographical location, at the crossroads of Paris, Vanves and Issy-les-Moulineaux.
A 180-metre, 44-storey high-rise building with a floor area of around 95,000 m², Triangle will be mainly dedicated to offices, coworking spaces and a 128-room Radisson hotel. The project will also include spaces accessible to the public, such as a conference centre, a Summit belvedere offering a cultural and artistic experience with unparalleled views over Paris, as well as shops and community facilities including a cultural centre, health centre and crèche.
The unique triangular shape, designed by architects Herzog & De Meuron and Valode & Pistre, is the result of a succession of recesses at each level on 3 of the 4 façades, allowing the building to blend harmoniously into its surroundings. This design reduces the shadows cast on neighbouring buildings and limits the footprint, thus preserving the development potential of the surrounding area.
Egis is responsible for supervising the execution of the technical work packages, including fluids, lifts, kitchens and fire safety, as well as providing environmental project management assistance for the HQE aspects.
The works, due to start in 2022, are progressing at a steady pace. To date, the superstructure has reached the bottom floor of the 23rd floor.
